We just visited the reception diagnostic center in Plainfield Indiana on Saturday, Every inmate received a Bible a gift package a toothbrush and toothpaste a bar of soap a homemade thinking of you card and more than that we pray a great blessing through the songs that were sung the scriptures that were shared and testimonies that were given. If you would like to be a part of this project we need your help to sponsor a women’s prison in central Illinois. They have approximately 1800 women and we are trying to raise $12,000 before Christmas to make this project possible. You can donate online or send your tax deductible love gifts to Christmas behind bars PO Box 474, Bluffton, IN 46714
I’ve never heard about your ministry but I turned on my tv this morning thinking I was going to see more news about the virus or more earthquakes. Instead I heard the good news! My mother was the Utah Chapter Coordinator for Angel Tree Prison Fellowship for years andI’ve always had a heart for prisoners. I’ve sung in correctional facilities for youth in the Salt Lake City area. My husband’s son has been in prison in Gunnison Utah now for going on 5 years he’s 27 years old and my husband’s step son from a previous marriage is in prison in Florida for longer than that, I just recently talked to him on the phone and he’s involved with a program to rehabilitate inmates like him self and his half brother. Are you aware of any Christian programs in either one of those states? We’ve tried to visit my stepson but there prison is always having problems and they lock down for weeks at a time. My mail had even been returned over strict regulations on the color of the envelope We live in Layton Utah. I would love to pass on information to my step sons. We will pray about supporting your mission. Thank you so much for the lives you are changing and fulfilling Christ’s command. Love in Christ. Beverly
